Afffiniti: Ori-juhn-al MAY 2010


Afffiniti is proud to release its design print for May 2010. This design was pretty random we have to admit. It involved a bunch of young people looking at us funny, the owner of Afffiniti AND a blonde women STRUGGLING to make use of camera equipment ( jk Jen, THANKS!). With absolutely no planning we were able to get some great shots of  Joey show his stuff, "it just so happened" he was wearing an Afffiniti shirt ;) and There you have it, with a bit of photography and some post production treatment, we arrived with our totally random design for this month.. Voila!

On a side note. We have been getting a bunch of questions in regards to this project, so just to make things a little more clear please read the following.

- This is a personal business project, with dynamic objectives and requirements.
- This project is completely funded by Afffiniti with no customer affiliation.
- What are the rules? There's only 1! What ever the print concepts consist of, they must represent Afffiniti. What does this mean? Company branding has to exist somewhere in the finished design. Keep in mind, we simply set out to challenge ourself on top of our already HECTIC schedule. You might then ask, well whats the point? Nothing really, thats the beauty! If we continue to challenge ourselves then we continue to be fluent in our profession. This is our goal :)

New marketing campaign: APRIL 2010


Afffiniti is proud to announce it's cut the ribbon on a personal business project. This will be a non profit marketing campaign titled "Orijinal". With no specific audience, or goal, over the next 12 months Afffiniti will be producing stylized ads to give it's future clients a better understanding of how Afffiniti feels about the relationship between creativity, and a successful end result. Some of our goals during the timeline of this project are as follows.

- we LOVE the challenge.
- Helps create a list of stylized art prints for our portfolio.
- Implementation(is this even a word?) of creative ideas and random methods.
- communicates to YOU! how we think when we're not working for our clients.
- Attracts other weird people who love concept art.

Having said that we are excited about the challenges that will be arrise over the next 12 months. It will be interesting to see how the scheduling and time constraints impact our peices of art. Obviously, some will be rushed and some will be polished. Some will probably be more creative then others, but we'll be damned if we won't give it our best! Attached to this post is our first attempt involving an INSANELY popular converse sneaker. Be on the look out for something random, when we get desperate, we get creative.. and things get interesting. Tune in next time folks, same bat time, same bat channel.
